Aqua Sana at Center Parcs Day Spa Review

Last November I turned the big 3-0 and my bestie bought me a spa day (dreamy!) at Aqua Sana at Center Parcs Longleat. Due to busy schedules we weren’t able to book in until March 2022. Any excuse to drag out my birthday celebrations, eh?

It was day spa for two booking on a Monday which included pastries on arrival, free hire of robes and towels and a light lunch. Read on to discover the highlights of our spa day…

For anyone that hasn’t been to Center Parcs before, the drive in is always pretty impressive. The roads are lined with massive trees and basically you a driving through a forest. Instantly calming.

We were greeted with a smile, given tote bags with our robes and towels in and shown to the plush changing rooms. We then headed to the cafe for a cuppa and a croissant.

The spa itself is one of the biggest I’ve ever been in – there are so many rooms and experiences to explore – and it’s even split over two levels.

EXPENSIVE BEAUTY BUYS THAT ARE WORTH THE MONEY

The spaces have been carefully thought out to provide extra zen – having windows looking outside in one of the saunas, for example, so the great outdoors can be admired as you enjoy the heat.

The spa was busy, but not rammed. I think they limit the booking numbers so it never feels overcrowded.

You are advised not to take your phone into the spa for full relaxation mode, but I couldn’t resist sneaking it in for a minute to get some snaps (I made sure not to invade anyone’s privacy).

As well as being well thought out in terms of including amazing experiences, the spa as been designed to look luxurious and relaxing too.

I particularly enjoyed our dip in the outdoor hot tub (there’s two and it’s best to time it at lunch time to get a good spot). Another highlight was the sauna – I’m always such a big fan of a sauna as I like it hot, hot, hot.

Don’t leave without experiencing the dimly-lit room with heated loungers and water beds – so zen!

Lunch was served in the cafe (the same place as brekkie) and it included a light menu of paninis and pasta dishes, served with salad. Very tasty and not too heavy for heading back to the spa afterwards.

As glided back into the spa area, a member of staff was serving free rosé Prosecco for all guests – I can’t promise this happens every day – but what a treat! Maybe she knew it was my birthday…

The spa session lasted from 9am to 5pm and it went by in a flash! It was the perfect spa day and I’ll definitely be back. Oh, and be sure to hang around for a walk around the lake that’s right outside the spa.
