Hey lads and ladies,
This week we are talking golf (but I promise not to bore you like watching the sport might…).
I’m a big kid at heart and I’m also pretty competitive, so around a year ago when Puttshack opened in Westfield, around the corner from our flat, I jumped at the chance.
What’s different?
Puttshack isn’t your ordinary golf experience. It’s all computerised which means as soon as your ball is registered to you, all of your putts are recorded automatically. It means you can go in any order, just pop your ball down (oh er) and the computer will know it’s you and it will register your score for you – so no carrying around a pad and pencil. As the hard work is taken care of, you can turn your attention to the amazing cocktails that you can sip around the course.
Appeals to all ages
What I like most about crazy golf is that it is suitable for pretty much any age. Me and my boyfriend Arthur love it, but we also took his younger brother for his 13th birthday. Equally, I think I’d invite my parents to give it a go some time too, as it’s so much fun.
Pre-night out fun
If you visit in the evening (especially Friday and Saturday) you’ll notice that there’s a real party vibe. The place is bustling, the neon lights are dazzling and the music gets you in the mood. This is the perfect place to start your evening before a BNO (big night out).

Snack happy
After a few rounds of golf you’ll certainly work up an appetite, so it’s a good job that there is a food area serving up tasty treats like pizzas, burgers and nachos. I can personally recommend the pizzas – they are divine!

If you sign up to their marketing emails, you’ll be the first to hear about any special discount days they might have – for example they do deals for kids during half term and food & drink offers on random days.
