Skincare Heroes

I just have to tell you about these three beauty products that I’m obsessed with!

First up, the Roger & Gallet Beauty Vinegar. Don’t let the name put you off – it’s nothing like the stuff you generously add to your fish and chips. It’s essentially a toner. In my line of work, I’m lucky enough to get a few beauty freebies, so initially I was gifted this product but now I’m totally hooked and I’ve been to Marks & Spencer recently to pick up a new bottle.

The first thing you’ll notice is the amazing smell – it’s divine! The application is a similarly dreamy experience, it glides over skin removing any traces of make-up and grime. The end result is the squeakiest feeling skin ever (but without that horrible stripped feeling). Honestly, I cannot sing its praises enough.

img_0275.jpgAnother trusted fave in my beauty drawer is the Clarins Blue Orchid Treatment Oil. During my time on Perfect Wedding, it actually won ‘best facial oil’ in our annual beauty awards and there’s definitely a reason for that.

I used to be a little scared of oils because of my combination skin and hormonal spots (srsly though, when will they stop?), but this is the product that banished my fears.

I mainly use it at night and you only need a few drops to cover your face. I apply before my moisturiser to allow the oil to sink into my skin. If I’m ever in need of a moisture boost, I will sometimes apply in the morning for an extra-dewy look.

DERMALOGICA FACIAL REVIEW

img_0277.jpgLast, but by no means least, is the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Cream. I haven’t been using this one as long as the others, but I’m already soooo impressed. I’ve long been a fan of their Face Base, so I thought I’d give this one a go.

What I really like about this moisturiser is that it doesn’t feel too heavy. It hydrates and smooths, but it doesn’t sit on top of my skin like some products do. I apply a 10p-sized amount of this everyday and follow it up with my Face Base to create the perfect canvas for my foundation.img_0276.jpgIf you liked this, check out my hair heroes!

  1. I brought the Bobbi Brown cream to Korea on Winter vacation and couldnt use it TT or didn’t hydrate on that kind of cold and the texture was a little weird for me.
