Hey lovelies,
As the nights are drawing in and the temperature is dropping, my attention has turned to updating my wardrobe for the new season. Here are my trend predictions for the coming months:
Brown
To be honest, I never thought the day would come when I’d be championing the colour brown, but here we are… This season has seen an array of brown tones hitting the rails – from deep chocolate silky pieces through to camel brown knitwear – it’s time to get involved. I even purchased a brown suit! Which I have had sooooo many compliments on.
Patterns
Think Fendi-esque prints and vintage styles, the more pattern, the better. Team with black to make them more wearable and if you find a killer print in brown you get bonus points!
Mini bags
Completely impractical but totally cute. This is a trend that’s actually been around for a while but there’s no sign of it going anywhere for Autumn/Winter. My advice would be to invest in a bag that will go with multiple outfits – such as a black or brown one – and then you will get use out of it for the whole season. Here are some of my faves:
Western boots
Can I get a yee-ha? Cowboy boots are back on the map. Whether you select traditional black, trendy white or go cray-cray with silver – anything goes. If you want to be uber-stylish, opt for the knee high versions. I love the look of them, but don’t think my calves will agree…

Headbands
This trend took off in summer 2019 and it’s set to continue riding high. Step into any high street store and you will find a wall dedicated to fabric headbands in an array of different shades and patterns. I’m obsessed with them as they are a great way to make it to ‘day three’ hair as they detract from the slightly greasy roots – winning!

Midi/maxi dresses
If you though midi and maxi dresses were reserved for the summer months then you are oh-so wrong. Take your summer florals and team them with biker boots and tights to bring them into the new season. I also think dresses with trainers are a good option for Autumn (before the days get too cold that is).

Also, I have a small black bag that I use every day & I love it!
& I never thought of wearing my maxi dress in the fall b/c I always considered it summer wear.
